
Nikhil Arora is responsible for charting Intuit’s strategy in India as the company builds its business with an "In India for India" philosophy. Named Vice President and Managing Director in August 2011, he implements Intuit’s in–country business strategy, strengthening partnerships and capitalizing on social, mobile and global market trends.
Nikhil brings a deep understanding of the Emerging Markets (BRICs) and the challenges confronting businesses in India. He has over 18 years’ of global experience in corporate strategy, international operations, marketing, and finance in India, Russia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe and United States. Before joining Intuit, he served as the Vice President and Head of Operations at Laureate Education, a $2 billion education company with a network of innovative higher education institutions in 28 countries. In this role, he drove the operations and strategic growth initiatives in India.
Prior to Laureate Education, Nikhil was Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Global Strategic Business Development at ADP. He has worked with Microsoft’s business solutions group in product and finance strategy. At Delphi Group; General Motors’ largest automotive component manufacturer, he has worked on M&A and Joint Ventures focused on new growth segments and international markets.
A MBA graduate from Thunderbird, the Global School of International Management in Arizona, Nikhil also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Hofstra University, New York and a Diploma in Russian language. Nikhil is based out of New Delhi, and while not at work he enjoys running, traveling and exploring new destinations with his wife and daughter.
